The founders began the company with a vision of a corporation that gave each of its employees a stake in the success of the business. They wrote a constitution which expressed their values to serve as the guiding principles for us to work by. They recognized that a visionary company must help its employees create personal wealth by working hard to make the organization profitable. They recognized that family comes first. They recognized that the true strength of any group is only as great as the strength of its members.

Our successes have been phenomenal. In 1986, we founded Design Electric, a national electrical contractor, and a natural companion business to Lighting & Electrical. The innovative alliance of these two brought unprecedented growth and profitability. Each year since 1982, both sales and profit have grown significantly – sometimes as much as 30%. We are a young, energetic company with a passion for growth and change. Our culture is a friendly, open-minded, “whatever it takes” environment.
